Loving Bravely 1

My wife has been receiving psychiatric rehabilitation services from Singapore Anglican Community Services (SACS) for more than 10 years. She had previously stayed at the residential facility at Anglican Care Centre (ACC) (Simei), and when we had gotten the keys to our new Build-To-Own (BTO) flat, she continued to receive support from ACC (Yishun). Through counselling, both my wife and I have a better understanding of her condition. The communication between us has also improved - she is able to better express her experiences, thoughts, and feelings, and I know how to support her better. Knowing that my wife is getting better at managing her condition effectively now, I go to work everyday feeling more at ease.

 Loving Bravely 2

My wife has been receiving support from Anglican Care Centre (ACC) Yishun since April 2019. Throughout this time, I am thankful for the support given to her. I have seen how my wife improve on her recovery journey and is now more able to perceive issues from a wider perspective and tackle her challenges more confidently. As a caregiver, I have found the listening ear from my wife’s counsellor to be very helpful as well. We have both gained greater insight into her condition and how to better manage it. As a result, we understand each other better, and our marital relationship as well as family life have improved. Thank you ACC (Yishun)!
